About the Role

The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the opening and daily operations of a high-end restaurant within this exclusive social club. This position requires a balance of operational precision, leadership, and genuine hospitality. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to cultivate an exceptional front-of-house culture that embodies the spirit of both fine dining and community-driven hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspire a front-of-house team dedicated to world-class service.
• Partner with culinary and beverage leadership to ensure seamless execution across restaurant, bar, and event service.
• Manage scheduling, floor operations, and guest relations with consistency and composure.
• Uphold and refine service standards, presentation, and overall guest experience.
• Support financial oversight through labor management, inventory tracking, and cost control.
• Contribute to building a culture centered on professionalism, collaboration, and excellence.
• Assist in all aspects of opening operations, from systems setup to team onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within an upscale or fine-casual restaurant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Deep understanding of hospitality and service execution at a luxury level.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment combining dining, social, and event elements.
• Experience with POS and reservation systems such as Toast or SevenRooms.
• Energetic, poised, and solutions-oriented approach to operations and guest service.
